
Men's Golf Begins Play Thursday in the NCAA Regional

The University of Louisville's men's golf team will look to advance to its third straight NCAA Championship this week when it begins play at the 2009 NCAA Regional in Bowling Green, Ky. on May 14-16.
The Cardinals are coming off an impressive showing at the BIG EAST Championships that saw the Cardinals earn the league's automatic bid with a five-shot win over Marquette. It was the Cardinals' second-ever BIG EAST title.
The eighth-seeded Cardinals will compete at the par 72, 7,400-yard Course at Old Stone in Bowling Green, Ky., with the top 10 squads advancing to the NCAA Championships in Toledo, Ohio from May 26-30. The regional will take place Thursday-Saturday with 18 holes being contested each day.
Senior Adam Hadwin, freshmen Justin Dorward, Connor Arendell, Riley Wheeldon and sophomore Karsten Clements will compete this week for the Cardinals in the Regional.
As the 8 seed, the Cardinals you guys will tee off at 9:20, 9:30, 9:40, 9:50, and 10:00 AM alongside Duke and Ohio State, going off on the first tee.
