
Schulz and Hadwin Compete in Qualifying Events

Louisville, Ky.- - Two former University of Louisville men's golfers are playing are playing to qualify in a pair of tournaments this week.
Ted Schulz begins play today at TPC Scottsdale to attempt to qualify for his Champions Tour Card for the 2010, while Adam Hadwin begins play Wednesday in Beaumont, Calif. at Oak Valley Golf Club.
Schulz is one of 78 players competing for approximately eight spots on the 2010 Champions Tour. Schulz is a three-time winner on the PGA Tour highlighted by his victory at the 1991 Nissan LA Open at the famed Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles, Calif. Schulz has served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Cardinals the last several years and continues to work with our team.
Hadwin is one of 81 players competing for approximately 20 spots. if he advances to thru this second stage he will play in the finals December 2-7 at Bear Lakes CC in West Palm Beach , Fla. At the finals, he will have minimum guaranteed status on the 2010 nationwide tour with a chance to earn full status on the 2010 PGA Tour.
