
2008 NCAA Field Hockey Championship Tickets on Sale

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - - Tickets are now on sale for the 2008 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship which will take place November 21 and 23 at Trager Stadium. This marks third time that the University of Louisville has hosted the NCAA field hockey championship - Trager Stadium was also the site of the event in 2002 and 2005.
"This will be the third time in seven years that Louisville's Trager Stadium has been selected as the host site for the crowning of our nation's best college team," said U of L head coach Pam Bustin. "The teams and the fans should look forward to a first-class tournament weekend. The university and community are eager to make this event special and memorable for all who attend."
The semifinal games will take place on Friday, Nov. 21 at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with the final game slated for Sunday, Nov. 23 at 12:30 p.m. Sunday's championship game will be televised by CBS College Sports. The championship game time is subject to change due to television requirements.
Single session tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students with valid student I.D. Tournament passes are $20 for adults and $8 for students. Group tickets for students (18 and under - groups of 10 or more) are $3 per student and must be purchase by November 21, two hours prior to the first game.
In addition to the NCAA tournament games, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association North/South Senior All-Star Games will take place on Nov. 22. The NFHCA contests will showcase the top field hockey seniors in NCAA Divisions I and II. The NFHCA Division I and II North/South All-Star games will take place Saturday, Nov. 19 at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
