Louisville, Ky. - University of Louisville senior men's golfer Daryl Fathauer fired a 71 to finish in the top four at the local qualifier for the United States Open. The low for the tournament was a 70.

Fathauer's 71 was good enough to advance to the US Open Regional qualifier on June 2 in Columbus, Ohio. He will compete with his brother, Derek, who earned an exemption.
