Cardinals to Close Spring Practices Next Week

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville football team will close spring practices starting on Tuesday, April 8. The Cardinals will conduct three more open practices on Tuesday, April 1, Thursday, April 3 and Saturday, April 5. Weekday practices will start at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday's practice will begin at 1:00 p.m.
The annual Red-White Spring Game is slated to be played on Friday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
"We appreciate all the Cardinal supporters that have attended our practices this spring ," said head coach Steve Kragthorpe. "We will have three more open workouts, including a scrimmage this weekend for our fans. As we begin preparation for our opening game against Kentucky next season, the last week of practices will be closed. We welcome all of our fans to attend the Spring Game on April 18."
The Cardinals return to the practice fields on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
