
Men's Golf Fourth at UCF after Two Rounds

Orlando, Fla. - Senior Derek Fathauer is tied for sixth place after two rounds of the UCF Rio Pinar Invitational as the University of Louisville opened its men's golf season.
Louisville is currently in fourth place after the first two rounds, after shooting 288-285=573 on the day. UCF is six shots clear of Wichita State. The Shockers remained in second with a pair of consistent rounds, posting a 284 (-4) in the morning round to go with a 283 (-5) in the afternoon. The Rebels fell to third place (570, -6) after carding a 290 (+2) in round two.
Fathauer carded 70-70=140 Monday to sit six shots off the lead. Lewis Kirton is tied for 26th place after shooting 73-71=144, while Adam Rainaud is tied for 29th with his 71-74=145 performance.
Daryl Fathauer got off to a slow start with 74-72=146 and is tied for 36th place overall, while Adam Hadwin rounds out the top five with 76-72=148 and is tied for 54th.
Ole Miss grabbed the first-round lead behind the strong play of freshman Jonathan Randolph. The Rebel rookie made seven birdies in his first 18 holes to post a score of 65. Randolph is in a five-way tie for sixth after posting a 75 (+3) in round two.
