
Men's Golf Stands in Fourth Place at Memphis

Memphis, Tenn. - The University of Louisville men's golf team fired a two-round total of 597 (301-296) to sit in fourth place after two rounds at the Memphis Intercollegiate. The tournament is being held at the par-72 7,334-yard Colonial Country Club.
On a day that saw wind gusts of 25-30 mph, the Cardinals are just nine shots behind tournament leader Ohio State. Memphis is in second place at 591 and Mississippi State is currently in third.
The Cardinals received solid play by a pair of true freshmen in Riley Wheeldon and Connor Arendell, who are both tied for 13th place over. Wheeldon shot 73-75=148 and Arendell shot 76-72=148, which is four-over par on the day.
Senior Adam Hadwin stands in 20th place after his 76-73=149. Sophomore Karsten Clements is tied for 33rd overall at 76-76=152 and freshman Justin Dorward is tied for 80th at 79-83=162.
The Memphis Intercollegiate will resume at 8:00 a.m. (CT) with the playing of the final round. Live scoring will be available via www.golfstat.com
