Derek Fathauer Wins First Round Match at US Amateur

San Francisco, Calif. - University of Louisville men's golfer Derek Fathauer advanced to the second round of the 107th U.S. Amatuer with a victory of over Randy Haag in the first round of match play on Wednesday at the Lakeside Golf Course at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif.
Fathauer will play Chris Kirk at 7:10 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Daryl Fathauer lost in a playoff to be eliminated, as he was one of 16 players vying for the last six spots.
