
Women's Golf Finishes Second at John Kirk Lady Panther

Stockbridge, Ga. - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot the low round of 295 on the last day of the John Kirk Lady Panther Invitational to finish second place. The Cardinals finished the tournament with a score of 590, just five strokes off the lead. Maryland won the tournament with a score of 585 while Birmingham Southern finished third with a score of 596.
Senior Adrienne White and sophomore Cindy LaCrosse finished tied for fifth with a score of 144. White carded a 73 in the second round while LaCrosse finished with a 75. Memphis' Stacy Tate took medalist honors with a score of 140.
Sophomore Amanda Henry picked up her game in the second round and shot a 73 to finished tied at 24th with a score of 152. Junior Jenny Calkins was also back to her solid form, shooting a 74 in the final round to finish tied at 39th with a score of 155. Freshman Camille Williams finished tied at 44th with a score of 156.
Senior Cristina Gonzsalez competed as an individual and finished tied at 64th with a score of 159. Danielle Kom also competed as an individual and finished 85th with a score of 169.
The Cardinals will be back in action as they host the BIG EAST Tournament April 22-24 at the Oxmoor Country Club.
