- Seniors Brad Gianny, Chris Current, Perrin Johnson and Brandon Jenkins played their final games at Freedom Hall.
- The Cardinals have now won six in a row and 10th in the last 12 games.
- The Cardinals secured the No. 2 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament.
- The Cardinals made nine three-point field goals and are 12-2 when hitting more than seven trifectas in a game.
- Freshman Edgar Sosa scored a team-high 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field and 4-of-5 from behind the arc. His 18 points were the most since he scored 19 points against Syracuse on 1/27/07.
- The Cardinals are now 18-0 this season when leading at the half and 15-0 when it scores 70 or more points. The Cardinals are also 89-4 over the last eight seasons when scoring better than 80 points in a game and 65-4 under head coach Rick Pitino. Louisville is also 6-0 this season.
- The Cardinals finished 16-4 at home this season.
- Freshman Derrick Caracter scored in double figures for the fourth straight game. He scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds.
- Seton Hall entered the game ranked second in the nation in steals, but the Cardinals turned the ball over just six times.
- The Cardinals have blocked as many as seven shots in seven games this season, including four of the last seven.
- Louisville has won its final home game of the season on Senior Day each of the last six years under Pitino.
