"It was good to be home after four straight matches on the road," said U of L coach Greg Davis.

U of L gained the doubles point with little trouble. At No. 2, Natalia Baez and Bianca Gorbea blanked Stephanie Craun and Alli Nickill 8-0. Natalie Laszkowski and Jo-Ann Van Aerde paired to beat Alix LaKow and Megan Sammons 8-1 at No. 3. At No. 1, Robyn White and Lauren Imre combined to beat Heather Butt and Adriana Espinosa 8-4.

The Cardinals swept all six singles matches to improve their season mark to 7-11. U of L had three matches where the Cardinals won 6-0, 6-0. Bianca Gorbea at No. 2, Natalia Baez at No. 5 and Jo-Ann Van Aerde at No. 6 all shutout their opponents. Natalie Laszkowski won 6-0, 6-1 over Megan Simmons at No. 3 and Robyn White allowed Alli Nickill just one game, winning 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4. Morehead's Heather Butt battled Lauren Imre at No. 1 but fell 6-1, 6-4.
