Fall 2008: Last fall, Natalie Baez was 4-6 in singles and 4-5 in doubles. She had singles wins against SMU and Michigan State. Her doubles wins came against Michigan State, SMU and Toledo.

2007-08: Last spring, Natalia posted a singles record of 25-8, primarily at the No. 4 slot. In doubles, she paired with Bianca Gorbea at No. 1 where they posted a 20-10 overall mark and 15-6 in dual matches. She and Gorbea earned All-BIG EAST honors. She was a BIG EAST Academic All-Star. In the fall of 2007, paired with Bianca Gorbea, she won Flight 1 in doubles at the Michigan State Invitational. She had a breakout performance at the Rice Invitational when she won the D-Flight singles. She came in third at the Tennessee fall tournament as well. 2006-2007: In dual play, Natalia went 9-14 overall in singles play and 10-7 overall in doubles play. She had wins over Auburn and Marshall. In doubles play she teamed up with Bianca Gorbea to record a team-best 9-6 mark at No. 2. They had wins over Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and South Alabama. In the fall of 2006, Natalia had seven wins in singles including W's against Texas, Arizona State.

2005-2006: In singles play, Natalia went 19-11 overall and 13-8 in dual play. She had wins over Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and Auburn. In doubles play, chiefly teamed with Bianca Gorbea, she went 17-10 overall and 10-6 in dual play. At No. 2 doubles, she had 11 wins with Gorbea, including an eight-match winning streak to start the dual season. They had wins over Notre Dame, Minnesota, Auburn and Marquette. In the fall of 2005, Natalia posted a 7-4 singles record in her debut as a freshman. She posted wins over Wisconsin, Illinois, Denver and Detroit among others. She paired primarily with Stephania Velazquez to post a 7-3 doubles record with wins over Ohio State, Marquette, Wisconsin and Detroit.

High School: Baez played in the Federation Cup representing the Dominican Republic. Member of the National Honor Society as a junior and senior. Received the Principal's Award her senior year, and was valedictorian of her high school class.

Personal: Daughter of Victor and Maria Baez. Born April 24, 1987. Major is marketing and international business.
