
Pitino Previews Sunday's Regular-Season Finale Against Seton Hall

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino and senior forward Perrin Johnson met with members of the media on Friday to preview the Cards' BIG EAST regular season finale against Seton Hall on Sunday at Freedom Hall. The 16th-ranked Cardinals and Pirates will meet at Noon ET on Senior Day at Freedom Hall and the game will be televised by ESPN Plus and WBKI-TV in Louisville.
The Cards enter Sunday's game at 21-8 overall and 11-4 in the BIG EAST following a 76-69 road win at Connecticut last Sunday. The win, which was the Cards' fifth-straight victory and their ninth in the last 11 outings, clinched a first-round bye in next week's BIG EAST Conference Championship at Madison Square Garden. Seton Hall is 13-15 overall and 4-11 in BIG EAST action following Wednesday night's 70-67 overtime loss at Cincinnati, the Pirates' ninth loss in their last 11 games overall.
Senior Day at Freedom Hall: The Louisville basketball program will say goodbye to senior players Chris Current, Brad Gianiny, Brandon Jenkins and Perrin Johnson during a pre-game ceremony scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. ET at Freedom Hall and fans are urged to arrive early for the special event.
