
Women's Golf Finishes Second in Baja Invitational

Ensendad, Mexico - The University of Louisville women's golf team finished second Baja Invitational played in Ensenada, Mexico, over the course of the past two days. Dense fog shortened round two on day one, and forced a cancellation of the third and final round. The Cardinals finished the first round with a score of 305 and shot a 307 in the second round.
"I was proud of the way we played with just one day of practice under our belt," said head coach Kelly Rothberg. "We lost a lot of shots but overall I am pleased with our performance and I think this is a good start to the season."
Senior Adrienne White finished tied for second with a score of 150. White finished with a 74 in the first round and a 76 in the second. Junior Jenny Calkins and sophomore Amanda Henry finished with a score of 154. Sophomore Cindy LaCrosse finished with a score of 155.
Freshman Camille Williams finished the two rounds with a score of 158. Senior Cristina Gonzalez finished with a score of 170. Freshman Chrissy Pachuta finished with a score of 185 while Danielle Kom finished with a score of 192.
