Men's Golf in Fourth Place in Spring Opener

ORLANDO, Fla. - - The University of Louisville men's golf team opened up tournament play this spring on Monday at the Rio Pinar Intercollegiate in Orlando, Fla. The Cardinals are in fourth-place after two rounds of play at the Rio Pinar Country Club.
Tulsa leads after two rounds with 572 and Louisville is just 11 shots off the pace. Tennessee-Chattanooga is second and Mississippi is in third.
Junior Daryl Fathauer is in a tie for eighth-place after shooting 73-71=144, while his brother Derek is tied for 14th overall after firing 73-72=145.
Sophomore Adam Hadwin is tied for 40th place at 73-76=149 and freshman Lewis Kirton is tied for 53rd after carding 70-80=150. Junior Andrew Freeman is tied for 77th by shooting 79-75=154.
Third round play will begin at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
