
Fathauer Named National Player of the Week

Louisville, Ky. - University of Louisville senior men's golfer Derek Fathauer has been named the Golfweek National Collegiate Player of the Week.
The Cardinals have been also selected as the National Team of the Week after winning the UNCG Bridgestone Golf Collegiate Classic held at Forest Oaks Country Club. The Cardinals set a tournament record by shooting a third-round score of 279.
Fathauer earned honors after winning the tournament with a tournament record 10-under par. He shot 71-67-68=206. Daryl Fathauer earned the same honor earlier this year after winning the Alister McKenzie Invitational on October 9.
