
Fathauer tied for 21st at Sun Bowl Event

El Paso, Texas - Senior Derek Fathauer fired 145 and is tied for 21st place after two rounds of play at the Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic held at the 6,837-yard, par-71 El Paso Country Club.
Wake Forest's Webb Simpson tied thecourse and tournament record with a first round 62, but steady play by San Diego State's Aaron Goldberg gave the senior a one-shot lead after tworounds of play.
The third and final round is set to start at 8 a.m. at El Paso Country Club.
Each university that has a player participating in the tournament will receive a $1,000 scholarship. Over the past 32 years, the Sun Bowl Association has donated over $600,000 to collegiate golf through this scholarship program.
