Senior Derek Fathauer leads the UNCG Bridgestome Collegiate Championships after shooting a 6-under par after the first two rounds of play Monday at the Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
As a team, the Cardinals are tied for second place with Kent State at 581. Louisville fired 300 and 281 and are just one stroke behind leader North Carolina, who fired 580.
Fathauer shot 71 in the first round and followed that with a second round score of 67. Junior Adam Hadwin is next in line in eighth-place overall after shooting an even par 79-65+144.
Senior Daryl Fathauer is tied for 42nd after carding 76-74=150. Senior Adam Rainaud is tied for 56th overall after shooting 74-88=152.
Freshman Johnny Delprete made his collegiate debut and is tied for 62nd at 79-75=154.
Third round action begins on Tuesday morning.
