Port St. Lucie, Fla. - University of Louisville senior men's golfer Derek Fathauer shot a 1-under par 72 at the first round of the Ginn sur Mer Classic at TesoroSM. The inaugural event, part of the PGA TOUR's new Fall Series schedule, which was played at the Tesoro Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla. just 10 miles from the Fathauers' home in Jensen Beach, Fla.

His brother, Daryl, also competed and fired a 3-over par 76.
