Jan. 4, 2007
The rowing program at the University of Louisville is looking for women to join their novice program, which means you DO NOT have to have any prior rowing experience. However, having an athletic background is a great benefit and will help you pick up the sport much easier. This is the perfect opportunity for you to get actively involved with your university as well as learn a completely new sport. There is not a better time than now to become part of the Cardinal Athletic Family.
The coaching staff and athletes will be on campus during the first four days of school from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. ET at the bottom of the ramp, outside of the Student Activities Center. Please be sure to stop by to say hello and ask us any questions you may have.
There will be ONE informational meeting on Thursday, January 11 at 5:30 p.m. ET in ROOM 312 inside of the SAC. At the meeting we will show a highlight video and talk about the rowing season, racing, training, and tryouts. If you are interested, it is important that you come to this meeting. If you are not able to make the meeting, please be sure to contact Coach Featherstone at lfeather@hotmail.com or (502) 852-3325.
Practice times during the spring are Monday through Friday starting at 4 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you on campus!
Sincerely,
Laura Fogt
