Tucson, Ariz. - The University of Louisville men's golf team had a rough second day at the NCAA West Regional at the Omni Tucson West in Tucson, Ariz.
The Cardinals, who were 18th after the first day, fired 302 as a team to fall to 26th overall.
Sophomore Derek Fathauer paced the Cardinals by firing 1-under par 71. He birdied 2, 10 and 15 to stand at 1-over par for the tournament.
Sophomore Adam Rainaud and senior Brent Holmes each carded 76, while sophomore Daryl Fathauer fired 79 in the afternoon round. Adam Hadwin, who was the top player for the Cardinals after round one, shot 80 on Friday.
The regional concludes with third-round action on Saturday morning.
