PHILADELPHIA - University of Louisville senior Kelley Bowman finished sixth in the "championship" high jump to lead the Cardinal track and field team on the second day of competition at the 122nd edition of the Penn Relays Friday at Franklin Field.
Bowman, a native of Mt. Vernon, Ky., had a top jump of 5 feet, 8.75 inches good for sixth place in the field of championship competition from around the nation. Last week at the Cardinal Invitational, Bowman set a new school record in the high jump with a first-place mark of 5-11.00.
