
Men's Golf Moves Up To Fourth Place

DORADO, Puerto Rico - - The University of Louisville men's golf team fired a 283 to move up to fourth place at the Hyatt Planatation Intercollegiate in Puerto Rico on Monday.
The Cardinals, who ended play on Sunday in seventh place, improved by five strokes and are 11 shots behind leader Texas Tech (562).
Sophomore Derek Fathauer is in ninth place after shooting 2-under par 70, while sophomore Daryl Fathauer is in 10th place after shooting 71 on Monday.
Senior Brent Holmes, who fired a 74 on Sunday, responded with a 70 to be at even par at 144. Freshman Adam Hadwin is tied for 31st, while sophomore Andrew Freeman shot 71 after an opening round 79. He stands in a tie for 40th.
The Cardinals begin third round action on Tuesday morning.
