LOUISVILLE, KY. - - The University of Louisville field hockey team has released its 2006 spring schedule. The Cardinals will open March 25-26 at Indiana University's Hoosier Classic. The Cardinals will host the University of Louisville Spring Tournament April 8-9. The tournament field includes Ball State, Bellarmine, Indiana, Iowa and Missouri State.
The 2005 field hockey team posted a 14-7 overall record and finished the season ranked No. 12 in the final STX/National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll. U of L went 3-2 in league play its inaugural BIG EAST season.
