
Men's Golf Tied For Third In Spring Debut

Orlando, Fla. - Sophomore Derek Fathauer of the University of Louisville men's golf team fired a 2-under par 70 to lead after the first round of the Central Florida/Rio Pinar Intercollegiate on Monday, as the Cardinals opened the 2006 spring season.
The Cardinals are tied for third-place overall with Mississippi after one round, just two shots behind first-place Memphis and one shot behind Lamar.
Fathauer shot 35-35 to take control of the event on Monday. The second round wasn't completed due to a one-hour frost delay to start the day's event.
Sophomore Daryl Fathauer is tied for third-place after shooting par 72. He fired 36-36=72. Sophomore Adam Rainaud is tied for 29th after 37-39=76 and freshman Adam Hadwin is tied for 63rd with 38-41=79. Senior Will Hanna is tied for 75th after 41-40-81.
The Cardinals will play the second and third rounds on Tuesday morning.
