Fathauer Named GolfWorld's Top 50 Golfers

Louisville, Ky. - - University of Louisville junior golfer Derek Fathauer was named as one of GolfWorld's Top 50 collegiate golfers to watch for the 2006-07 season.

Fathauer has been outstanding in his first three seasons with the Cardinals. He has four collegiate wins in tournaments, including his win at the BIG EAST Championships last season. He took home medalist honors by shooting a school record 202. He was named as a first team All-BIG EAST selection.

This fall, Fathauer won the Wolf Run Intercollegiate by shooting 66-73-75=214 and also tied for high honors at the Rich Harvest Farms Invitational on September 10.
