
Men's Golf in Sixth Place at C-USA Championships

GULFPORT, Miss. - Freshman Daryl Fathauer of the University of Louisville men's golf team is tied for eighth place after day one of the Conference USA Men's Golf Championship at the Grand Bear Country Club in Gulfport, Miss.
The Cardinals are currently sixth as a team after shooting 296, while TCU leads the field with 278.
Fathauer fired a 36-35=71 after the first 18 holes, while his brother Daryl and freshman Adam Rainaud are tied for 21st with 74.
Senior Charlie Woo is in 41st place with 77 and senior Brett Jones is tied for 47th with his first round score of 78.
Second round action will begin on Tuesday morning.
