LOUISVILLE, KY. - - The University of Louisville field hockey team has released its 2005 spring schedule. The Cardinals will open on April 9-10 at Indiana University's Hoosier Classic. The Cardinals will host the University of Louisville Spring Tournament April 23-24. The tournament field includes Ball State, Saint Louis, Southwest Missouri State, Iowa, Northwestern, Ohio and Indiana.

U of L finished the 2004 season with a 12-10 overall record and posted a program-best 8-2 MAC record while tying Kent State for the regular season championship. After winning their second consecutive MAC Tournament, the Cards fell to Pacific 1-0 in overtime in an NCAA play-in game.
