Louisville-UK Football Game Time Set

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville's 2004 football home opener against the University of Kentucky on Sunday, September 5 will be televised by ESPN at 3:30 p.m.

The contest, which will be played at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, is a rematch of last season's 40-24 win for the Cardinals in Lexington. The Wildcats won the last meeting at PJCS, 22-17, in 2002.

This will be the third straight year that an ESPN network has picked up this contest. Last season's U of L-UK rivalry game was aired on ESPN2.

The Kentucky contest is one of five games scheduled for an ESPN network this season.
