
Cardinal Football Finishes Practice No. 6

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville football team concluded its sixth practice of the spring with a 75-play scrimmage on Thursday afternoon on the Cardinal practice fields.
After a 16-period workout, the Cardinals closed practice with a brief scrimmage. Highlighting the scrimmage was the passing game, which featured some great throws from senior Stefan LeFors and acrobatic catches by seniors Joshua Tinch and J.R. Russell.
On the third drive, LeFors hit Russell with a 35-yard pass to the two-yard line. Reggie Bradshaw closed the drive with a one-yard run. Russell set up the score with a fine leaping catch along the sideline.
On the first play of the fifth series, LeFors threw 35 yards to a diving Tinch for a touchdown. LeFors also hit Russell with a 25-yard touchdown strike.
The Cardinals will workout for an hour and half on Friday before holding its first official scrimmage on Saturday at Noon.
