LOUISVILLE, Ky. --The University of Louisville field hockey team has released its 2004 spring schedule. The Cardinals will open on March 27 at the Hoosier Classic hosted by Indiana University. The following weekend, they travel to the Sand, Sun and Hockey Tournament at the National Field Hockey Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. On April 17, the Cardinals will host a 7 v 7 tournament to include: Ball State, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Southwest Missouri State, Northwestern, a coaches team and a U of L alumae team.

The University of Louisville field hockey team finished the 2003 season with a 13-10 record (6-3 Mid-American Conference), captured the school's first MAC tournament title and made the its first NCAA appearance.
