The Fathauer twins pace the Cardinals men's golf team

Cordova, Tenn. - - The University of Louisville men's golf team finished fourth at the Memphis Intercollegiate on Monday morning. The Cardinals shot 888, 15 strokes behind Memphis, who won its own tournament with 873.

The Cardinals were paced by Daryl and Derek Fathauer, who finished 13th and 14th, respectively. Senior Allan Thomas shot the low individual round of the afternoon with a 5-under 67, which was also tied for the lowest round of the tournament with Daryl Fathauer of Louisville, who also shot a 67 in the second round.

Daryl shot 77-67-76=220, while Derek finished with 71-74-76=221

Rounding out the team totals for Memphis were Brett Jones, who finished tied for 25th at 9-over 225 (79-73-73) and Charlie Woo who was tied for 38th with 77-76-75=228.

Freshman Adam Rainaud was tied for 42nd with 75-80-74=229.

The Cardinals will play in the Xavier Intercollegiate on October 11-12.
