Louisville, Ky.- - The Conference USA football game between Tulane and Louisville originally set for Saturday, Sept. 18 has been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Louisiana Superdome. Kickoff for the contest will be at 1:30 p.m. (CST).

With Hurricane Ivan bearing down on the Gulf Coast in September and the city of New Orleans under an evacuation order the week of the game, officials of the two schools and Conference USA decided to postpone the contest until the end of the season. After reviewing schedules of all parties involved - including both universities, the Superdome, the New Orleans Hornets and local prep football teams - the Saturday afternoon time slot was selected.
