
Men's Golf Hosts Cardinal Intercollegiate

LOUISVILLE, KY. - - The University of Louisville men's golf team will host the second annual Cardinal Intercollegiate on Monday, September 29, at 8:30 a.m. at the Cardinal Club.
The 14-team field will begin 36-hole play on Monday morning with a shotgun start. The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday morning starting at 8:30 a.m.
Junior Charlie Woo, who finished fifth at the Kansas Invite last Tuesday paces the Cardinals with a stellar 72.8 average, while classmate Brett Jones is second with a 73.1 average.
The Cardinals have gotten off to a solid start this fall, posting a fifth-place finish at the North Texas tournament and were fifth at Kansas last week.
"We have a very competitive field for our tournament," said head coach Mark Crabtree. "There are some outstanding teams in the field, and we look forward to a fun couple days of golf."
The teams in the 14-team field include: Louisville, Arkansas State, Central Florida, ECU, Eastern Kentucky, Marquette, Memphis, UNC-Greensboro, South Alabama, Southern Miss, St. John's, Texas Arlington, VCU, Wofford.
