The University of Louisville women's golf team currently stands in third place and five strokes off the lead after two rounds of the Louisville Cardinal Cup. East Carolina stands in first place with a score of 621 and Murray State one stroke off the lead with a 622.
Louisville junior Meghan Little leads the field with a two round total of 147. Georgia State's Lisbeth Meincke is two stroke behind in second. Louisville freshman Katie Tewell is in fourth place with a score of 152.
Senior Ali Wright is currently tied for 17th with a score of 161. Freshman Amy Yeates is tied for 33rd with a score of 166 and redshirt freshman Jaime Bentley rounds out the Cardinals lineup with a score of 174 and is tied at 49th. Freshman Cristina Gonzalez competed as an individual and finished the day with a score of 164 and is tied for 26th place.
The Cardinals will finish up play in the final round of the Louisville Cardinal Cup on Sunday. The tournament will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
