
Pasechnik Named Academic All-American

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville's Cindy Pasechnik was named a first team Verizon Academic All-American for the women's at-large team. Pasechnik becomes the first women's golf team member to earn the honor. Last season she earned second team honors. Pasechnik graduated in May with a degree in Finance and carried a cumulative GPA of 4.00.
She finished her senior season ranked third on the team with a stroke average of 78.5. Pasechnik had two Top 20 finishes this season. This season she was named Conference USA Scholar Athlete of the Year in women's golf for the second consecutive season.
