
Women's Golf Stands at 12th After First Round

Greensboro, N.C. - The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 307 in the first round of the Bryan National Tournament. Duke is currently in first place with a first round score of 286. South Carolina is third with a 294 and Tulsa and Wake Forest are tied for third with a score of 297.
Louisville senior Cindy Pasechnik led the Cards today, shooting a 74 and is currently tied for 16th place. Kristian Engstrom of Duke and Kristy McPherson of South Carolina are tied for the lead with a score of 69.
Freshman Elly Leonard is tied for 34th with a first round score of 76. Sophomore Meghan Little is tied for 48th with a score of 78. Morgan Hapney shot a 79 and is tied for 58th while Ali Wright shot an 85 and is tied for 82nd place.
The Cards will continue play tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Tournament play will wrap up on Sunday with the final 18 holes.
