Tampa, Fla. - The University of Louisville women's golf team is one stroke off the lead in the first round of the Waterlefe/USF Invitational. Host South Florida is in first with a score of 302 and Louisville is second with a 303. Penn State is third with a score of 304 and Campbell is fourth with a 306.
Freshman Elly Leonard is tied for second with a score of 73 in the first round. South Florida's Kelly Martin is first with a score of 72. Senior Cindy Pasechnik is tied for 11th place with a first round score of 75.
Sophomore Meghan Little finished tied for 22nd with a score of 77 today. Junior Morgan Hapney finished tied for 27th with a score of 78. Ali Wright is tied for 41st wit a score of 80.
Senior Jessica Kell, competing as an individual, is tied for 49th with a score of 82.
The Cards will continue play tomorrow, picking up where they left off because of the rain delay. They will play 26 holes tomorrow to finish up the 54 hole tournament.
