Holmes Finishes Fifth at Dixie Amateur

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - - Sophomore Brent Holmes of the University of Louisville men's golf team finished in a tie for fifth-place at the Dixie Amateur Tuesday in Pompano Beach, Fla.

Holmes fired a third-round score of 68 and ended with a 77 to finish in a tie for fifth by firing 213. Freshman Michael Giammaresi also fired a 73 and 74 to end the day at 221.
