Giammaresi and Holmes Advance at Dixie Amateur

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Sophomore Brent Holmes and freshman Michael Giammaresi made the cut at the Dixie Amateur at the Palm-Aire Country Club in Pompano Beach, Fla. on Sunday.

Holmes is in 13th place after firing a 145 after two rounds. Holmes fired a 71 in the first round and came back with a 74. Giammaresi is tied for 23rd overall after a two-round score of 147.

The pair will both tee off at 10:28 a.m. to begin their third round of play.
