
Women's Golf Stands at 10th After First Round

Lexington, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's golf team currently stands in 10th place at the Wildcat Fall Invitational in Lexington, Ky. The Cardinals finished the first round with a score of 328. Mississippi State is in first place after shooting a 309 and Vanderbilt is second with a score of 311.
Junior Meghan Little leads the Cardinals after shooting a 76 and is currently tied for seventh place. UK's Marissa Muir leads the field with a score of 73 and Mississippi State's Natalie Booth is one stroke off the lead with a 74.
Freshman Katie Tewell is currently tied for 32nd with a score of 82. Senior Ali Wright is tied for 49th after shooting an 84 in the first round. Freshman Amy Yeates shot an 86 and is tied for 68th place.
Freshman Cristina Gonzalez competed as an individual and shot an 88 in the first round and is tied for 82nd place. Redshirt freshman Jaime Bentley is tied for 87th with a score of 89.
The Cardinals will continue play at the Wildcat Fall Invitational in Lexington, Ky. tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m., starting on hole 10.
