Field Hockey Alumnae Game Scheduled

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -The University of Louisville field hockey team will hold an alumnae scrimmage on Saturday, August 31 at 3:00 p.m. at Trager Stadium. A cookout reception will follow at approximately 5:00 p.m. in the Frazier Martin Room at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center.
"This is a great opportunity for us to prepare for our season and catch up with former players," said U of L head coach Pam Bustin. The Cardinals finished the 2001 season with a program-best 16-5 record and were ranked in the NCAA top 20 the entire year. U of L opens the 2002 season against No. 4 North Carolina on Sept. 7 at the Temple University Invitational in Philadelphia.
