Football Media Day Set for August 10

Media day for the two-time defending Conference USA champion Louisville Cardinals will be held on the field of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on Saturday, August 10 between 8:00 and approximately 10:30 a.m. The event is open only to credentialed media, however, a pancake breakfast and meet-the-team day for Cardinal fans will coincide with the event.
All Cardinal fans are invited to the lawn at the north end of the stadium for a pancake breakfast followed by an opportunity to meet head coach John L. Smith and the 2002 Cardinal football team. While the pancake breakfast costs $5 per person, the remaining festivities, which include guided tours of the football complex and an autograph/picture session with players and coaches, are free and open to the public. The pancake breakfast will kickoff at 9:00 a.m. while the autograph session will begin at approximately 11:00 a.m and run until noon. Free posters and schedule cards will be distributed while supplies last.
