LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville freshman forward/center Brandon Bender has been suspended by Coach Rick Pitino from the Cardinals' basketball team due to a violation of team rules. Bender has played in 10 games to date, averaging 5.5 points and 2.7 rebounds. His best outing of the season was against Ohio State, totalling 11 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
