Men's Cross Country Finishes Sixth at Miami Invitational

Oxford, Ohio - The University of Louisville men's cross country team finished sixth in the Miami Invitational Saturday morning in Oxford, Ohio.
Host Miami had four runners finish in the top-10 to capture the nine-team men's race. The RedHawks' Brian Godsey won the 8,000m race in 25:54.
The Cardinals were led by sophomore Curtis Persinger, who finished 32nd with a time of 28:09. Junior Mike Horan placed 40th with a time of 28:28 to round out the Cardinals' top-40 finishers.
The men will take a week off before traveling to Nashville on Sept. 22 for the Commodore Classic.
