Cardinal Rowing Interest Meeting Draws Crowd of 50

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville rowing coaches met with potential Cardinals Sunday and Monday evenings when more than 50 undergraduate women attended information meetings held at the Red Barn on campus. Ten more women expressed interest but were unable to attend the meetings.
"Our meetings went really well," said assistant coach Emily Egge. "The young women who showed up were extremely excited about possibly joining the rowing team. It is obvious that there are some great athletes among the group."

Tryout Schedule:
- Tuesday - 3 p.m., 4 p.m., or 4:45 p.m. at Cardinal Park (across from the SAC)
- Wednesday - 3 p.m., 4 p.m., or 5 p.m. in Crawford Gym (main gym)
- Thursday - 3 p.m., 4 p.m., or 5 p.m. in Crawford Gym
- Friday - 3 p.m., 4 p.m., or 5 p.m. in Crawford Gym
- Saturday - meet at SAC circle at 9 a.m. to carpool/caravan to the boathouse for final test
The 2001-02 Novice team roster will be posted at 12 p.m. Sunday at Crawford Gym and on the web site. Those who make the team will also receive a phone call on Sunday. The first team meeting will be held in the Frazier Martin Room in the Cardinal Sports Complex on the grounds of KFEC on Tuesday.
