Field Hockey Alumni Game Set

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville field hockey team will hold the 2001 Alumni game on Saturday, Aug. 25 at Trager Stadium in Cardinal Park at 5 p.m. Anyone interested in participating in the game should contact Justine Sowry at 852-8153.
"We are excited to be having an alumni game this year," said head coach Pam Bustin. "We need some good competition, which our local alumni will provide, to help us prepare for our first match. This will also serve as a great way to stay in contact with the players who have been a part of the Louisville field hockey tradition."
The Cardinals are coming off school record-setting 14 win campaign in 2000. They will open regular season play on Sept. 2 at No. 5 Michigan.
