Football Cards Ready For Week One Challenge

LOUISVILLE, KY -- University of Louisville head coach John L. Smith put the Cardinals through their final dress rehearsal of the fall in a 75-minute situational scrimmage.

"I like where we are right now," said Smith. "I think our players have worked hard since March and our fans will be treated to a hard-working, blue-collar team."

U of L returns to the practice field Sunday night as it continues to prepare for the Sept. 2 season opener with Kentucky in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
