Campbell Named Conference USA Men's Golfer Of The Week

CHICAGO - University of Louisville junior Chris Campbell has been named Conference USA Men's Golfer of the Week.

Campbell finished runner-up at the 16-team Johnny Owens Invitational in Lexington, Ky., after carding a 2-under par 214 in leading the Cardinals to the team title. His final round, a season-best 5-under 67, was the low score for of the three-round tournament and also a U of L season low.

The former Male High School standout leads the Cardinals and ranks eighth in the conference in scoring, averaging 73.19 strokes per round. In nine events this season, Campbell has placed in the top-seven on four occasions.
