"We continue to grow as a team," said U of L head coach Gene Weis. "Shola has had a good indoor season overall, but we'll see better before it's all over. Our distance people are also improving. A lot of our athletes, particularly our jumpers, are competing very leg weary right now, they've shown us better. Overall, it wasn't a bad meet for us, but barring injuries, we expect to be improved by conference time."
